A delightful 3 course lunch is included at the Stillwaters Restaurant (or similar) in Charlemont.
In the afternoon drive through some of the most charming of time forgotten New England villages, including Ashfield.

After passing by a covered bridge, arrive at "Magic Wings" in South Deerfield to enjoy a truly enchanting experience.

Within the premises is an atrium with a constant temperature of 80 degrees. The natural lighted room where a garden of plants and ferns bloom, hundreds of butterflies enjoy an "eden" like setting. Visitors can enjoy a mini universe of free flying butterflies which is free from predators. Some may perch on one's shoulders to accept a visitor as a "friend".
In addition to this fascinating atrium, "Magic Wings" has an interesting museum and video presentation. The gift shop is worth a visit, containing a wide variety of beautiful merchandise. There is also a pleasant cafeteria that sells beverages and sandwiches. Incidentally...all visitors will be screened for "escaped" butterflies prior to leaving the atrium.
NOTE: Group organizers may substitute the "Panorama" tour with the 2 Hr. Explorer Tour in combination with a visit to "Magic Wings".
