TOUR 5 - SATURDAY TANGLEWOOD REHEARSAL-BERKSHIRE TOUR COMBINATION PROGRAM

During July and August, a Saturday morning tradition has been open to the public, as the Boston Symphony Orchestra (or guest orchestra) performs a finished rehearsal (usually the Sunday afternoon concert program) at the Koussevitsky Memorial Shed, preceded by an interesting lecture. It begins at 9:30 AM.
Your tour guide will meet your group at the Main Gate at 9:00 AM and will purchase general admission tickets for your group, allowing ample time for your group participants to leisurely arrive and take their seats. (Please note that seats for rehearsals are not reserved).
Listen to the music, performed in an informal manner, but still heard beautifully, only the way the BSO can perform it. At about noon, upon conclusion of the rehearsal, reboard your tour bus as you travel to one of the finest restaurants in the area.
Enjoy a THREE COURSE LUNCH within the most appetizing settings.

How about the "Gingerbread
House" for dessert?
Following lunch, enjoy a TWO HOUR GUIDED TOUR OF THE BERKSHIRES, combining the most interesting landmarks, scenery and history that embraces Lenox, Stockbridge, Lee and Pittsfield. See 2 Hr. Orientation Tour for details.
